We had so many times at the Curry home.
Besides being a terrific host, Rene was always fun to be around...
Always a wisecrack or glib comment.
He will be those have been blessed to have him in our lives.

Rene, brother of my close friend, Linda, and uncle of two of my former students, was a very caring, compassionate, intelligent, kind, talented man. I will miss visiting with Rene and Sissy following our attendance for the early service at our church. Sending much Love and many Healing Prayers to all members of Rene's Family and his many friends.

While my time with Rene´ was limited, it occurred to me each time our paths crossed that he was a true gentleman. Rene´ was debonair and at the same time, he was genuinely kind and warm. He would greet me with a firm handshake, look me in the eye, and treat me the same as he would a close relative. The impressive story of his personal and professional achievements proves beyond any doubt that his greatest legacy will be the memory of his devotion to his family, especially his beloved Sissy.
Bobby and I deeply regret we won´t be able to attend the service. May he rest in peace.
Love,
Torrey
