Robert Lee Bates Jr. was born on February 25, 1997 to Elizabeth Ann Powell and Robert Lee Bates Sr. Robert Jr. was educated in the New Orleans Public School System. He attended Andrew H. Wilson Elementary School, Henry W. Allen Elementary, Sophie B. Wright High School and graduated from Miller McCoy High School. Robert Jr. was a serial entrepreneur. Robert Jr. had a passion for exotic dogs and cars. Robert Jr. entered eternal rest on November 22, 2023. He is survived by; His daughter Raleigh A. Bates, His devoted companion Santiana Pichon, His mother Elizabeth A. Powell, His father Robert Lee Bates Sr., Two brothers; Jeremiah Bush and Roziah Bates, His Grandfather Robert Bates, His Great Grandmother Adrian A. White, Great Grandfather Frank White Jr., Four God Sisters; Breanne Turner, Tre-Jaun Morris, Alexys Ross and Macie Ross, Three God Brothers; Armod Dabney, Bryn Ayers and Major Phillips. Robert Jr. is preceded in death by His Grandparents; Lorraine Powell, Louis Zarders III and Patricia Bates, His Great Grandparents Bobbie-Jean Powell and Theresia Powell, Louis Zarders Jr., Milton Bates Sr., Vivian H. Bates, Mary Simon, John Simon and Jessie F. Powell.
