Sandra Laverne Place Pierre

PIERRE Sandra Laverne Place Pierre (Lauren Powers) passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the age of 64. Wife of 41 years to Nathan Pierre. Loving mother of Nicole Marie Pierre (Hampton) and Michael Nathan Pierre. Beloved daughter of Janet Gagnon and the late Vernon Place. She was native of Maine, and a resident of New Hampshire and Louisiana for over twenty years in each state. She was from a large family of siblings including Steve Place, Dawn Donovan, Gina Sucharwicz, Ashley Place, Sam Place, Nancy Place, Leona Gagnon and the late Leo Place. She earned a BA degree in Nursing from LSU and enjoyed a 25 year career in nursing in Mass., LA and N.H. She maintained a close relationship with God through her faith, church and study of His teachings.
