Theresa Cousin Obituary

Theresa Mae Cousin transitioned peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, to be with the Lord on March 15, 2024. She was born on January 23, 1933, in Pass Christian, MS. Theresa worked for Tulane University until her retirement in 1989. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin B. Cousin; parents, Eugene and Leah Rochon; 3 siblings, Mary Louise Wilson, Eugene Rochon, Jr., and Frances Ganier, and 2 grandchildren. She is survived by 5 loving and devoted children, Alvin Cousin (Carol), Alan Cousin (Rachel), Angela LaFonta-Exposé (Ole'), Aloha Blake (Wilson), and Alicia Bragg; 1 brother, Harold Rochon (Noella); 1 brother-in-law, Raymond Cousin; 2 sisters-in-law, Sylvia Armstrong and Yvonne Rochon, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 23, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 7300 Crowder Blvd., NOLA. Rev. Daniel H.
