Thomas Erwin Obituary

ERWIN Thomas C. Erwin, age 80, native of New Orleans, resident of Metairie for 50 years, retired from South Central Bell, died on February 12, 2005. Beloved husband of Lauretta Donnaud Erwin, former husband of the late Elizabeth Eastin Erwin. Father of Stephen, Brian, and Don Erwin, stepfather of Karen Monistere, James "Chuck" LeBlanc, and Bobbie Theriault. Grandfather of Jennifer Drouant, John Thomas, Rebecca, and Sam Erwin, step grandfather of Gina, Todd and Ryan Monistere, Katherine, Emily, and Abigail LeBlanc, Christopher and Ashley Theriault. Great grandfather of Sean Paul Drouant, step great grandfather of Charles, Alexa, and Aubrey Monistere. Son of the late John C. and Mary Carter Erwin. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. A veteran of the U.S. Navy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 W. Metairie Ave., on Tuesday February 15, 2005 at 12:00 PM. Internment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be at the church at 10:00 AM before service begins. In lieu of flowers, donation to Odyssey Hospice, 3900 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, LA 70002, (504) 887-8128. Arrangements were held at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME.
