Tony Lombard

Tony Lombard transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly home on November 4, 2021. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Vera Ambrose Lombard and the late Albert "Buddy Red" Lombard, Sr. Christened as a baby at All Saints Catholic Church, he remained a faithful and dedicated parishioner until his last days. He later married Carla Ann Thompson, and together they had two sons, the late Antonio Lombard, and Fransisco Lombard. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Essie Lewis, Katie Young, Wilton Ambrose, Sr., and Warren Lombard, Sr.; parents, Vera Ambrose Lombard and Albert "Buddy Red" Lombard, Sr.; and son, Antonio Lombard. His memory will forever be with his children: Fransisco Lombard and Terriakea Lyndsey; siblings, Albert "Buddy Red" Lombard, Jr. (Ernestine), Glynn "Tweet" Lombard Patterson, Leroy F. Lombard, and Wilton Lombard (Anne); grandchildren, Alan Balderramos III, Alisha Balderramos, and Tamia Johnson; great grandchildren, Nevaeh Bonilla and Skylar Bonilla. In addition, he is also survived by his aunts, Inez Ambrose Boyd and Valencia Lombard Williams; uncle, the Honorable Judge Edwin Lombard; nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at All Saints Catholic Church 1441 Teche St., N.O., LA 70114 Visitation will at 8am to 9:30am and services will begin at 9:30. He will be buried at Old Union Cemetery in Gretna. Professional arrangements entrusted to Murray Henderson Funeral Home.
