Marjorie Webster Obituary

Marjorie A. Webster, age 93, passed away August 18, 2021, at Maple Crest Care Center in Omaha. Marjorie was born July 6, 1928, in Council Bluffs, to the late Claude and Maude (Townsend) Rickabaugh. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1946, and was united in marriage to Leonard L. Webster on June 8, 1947, and spent the next 72 years together. Marjorie retired from Mutual Of Omaha in 1987 after 25 years as a claims analyst. She is a member of the Presbyterian Faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Leonard in 2019; sister Vera Futterlieb; brothers Raymond Rickabaugh and wife Shirley, and Gerald Rickabaugh and wife Onie; son-in-law Bill Theisen. Survivors include Marjorie's children, Gloria (Cliff) Walenz, Claudia Sue Theisen, Dennis (Amanda) Webster, all of Omaha, Leonard (Becky) Webster Jr., of Arizona; sister-in-law Helen Loveless, of Council Bluffs; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation with family Monday 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday 11 a.m., all at funeral home. Due to COVID-19, if not vaccinated, masks are recommended. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Walnut Hill Reception Center. Family will direct memorials.
