Cecelia Sebrowski Obituary
Cecelia, (nee Turner), 90, of Rochelle Park, formerly of Maywood, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Before retiring, Cecelia worked for George Washington Memorial Park as a bookkeeper for 24 years. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary of Maywood and a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Rochelle Park. Cecelia was also an avid volunteer for the Rochelle Park Library and Helping Hands Ministry. Cecelia will be remembered for her love of reading, traveling, playing Mahjong and spending time with her family and to have been blessed to meet her first great-grandchild Max.
Cherished wife of Zigmund Sebrowski for 68 years. Loving mother of Robert Sebrowski and his wife Beth, Donna Bassman and her husband Rudy and Gerald Sebrowski. Beloved grandmother of Robert Sebrowski, Justine Bassman Nunez and her husband Alex, and Jeffrey Bassman. Adored Great Grandmother of Max Nunez.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 10:00AM Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Rochelle Park. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Cecelia's memory may be made to Helping Hands Ministry, 12 Terrace Avenue, Rochelle Park, NJ, 07662.
