I randomly think about this guy from time to time, for his saying "I play my geetar, in Qatar" when teaching us a song to remember all of the countries. I have never in my life been able to learn or memorize something the same way Mr. Nichols did. I had him in 7th grade for Social Studies, 1st period. This was 2000-2001. Crazy to think how short life is. Thanks so much for the great memories, rest easy. You are a great person, and made a mark on many people. Thank you Mr. Nichols.

I missed this a year ago, he was my 7th grade teacher and a really competent and caring teacher. He became a friend later in life as he also had chaperoned Michael on trips to the shore that naturally had to do with religion. He often spoke of this 4 children, Brett was born the year I had him in 7th grade, never a prouder papa. I hope that time has done its job and his family have moved forward in their grieving process. RIP Mr. Nicholls

Mr. Nicholls was my 7th grade Social Studies teacher. I was new to the district and he always treated me kindly. I had him 1st period. He was a fabulous teacher, drew amazing maps, and gave out peanuts, something you can't do now!! He was a kind and patient man and a wonderful person.

So sorry to hear of Dans passing. The best memories are of our trip out west with Dan in the lead! Things were great until he took us 500 miles out of the way to see a fort that was no longer standing! We all fell asleep watching the movie ! Then there was mutiny Dan was a great person who loved the Lord and he will be missed! Love and peace to all, Kathy and Darryl Brown

Mr. Nichols was my favorite teacher in Macopin Middle School, for both English and History. He made learning enjoyable. I will never forget his quote that we were made to write if we did wrong... those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are destined to repeat them you will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I had Mr. Nicholls for 8th grade history at Maple Road School in West Milford, NJ. He was my favorite teacher and taught me to like history. My daughter also had him as a teacher in Macopin Middle School, also in West Milford, NJ. He will be greatly missed.
