Dominick FERRANTE Obituary

FERRANTE Dominick V., of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2010 at the age of 85. Devoted husband of the late Gladys (nee Howell) who died in November, 1999. Beloved father of Karen Parliament of Ridgefield and Lori Williams of Whippany. Loving brother of Joseph of New York. Predeceased by his siblings, Virginia, Theresa, Mary, Antoinette, Stephen and Leo. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer De Rosa of Netcong, and Alexandra Williams, Matthew Williams, Daniel Williams, Ryan Williams and Christopher Williams, all of Whippany. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ferrante was self-employed in real estate. He was a former captain of Ridgefield Fire Dept. Co. 2, and a member of Ridgefield Exempt Firemen's Association, Ridgefield Republican Organization and the Seniors of Ridgefield. He was a decorated US Navy veteran of WWII. Visiting will be at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Ave, Ridgefield, NJ (201)945-5032 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9 AM to attend a 10 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace RC Church, Fairview. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ridgefield Ambulance Corps.
