George Mahe Obituary

Woodcliff Lake — George F. Mahe, Jr., 88, a lifelong resident of Woodcliff Lake, died on Wednesday, Oct. 27.

George was a graduate of Park Ridge High School, Class of 1938 and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., Class of 1942 with a degree in chemical engineering. Before retiring in the mid '70s, he was a project engineer with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, East Hanover. He was a member of the Woodcliff Lake Tree Commission and a member of the Pascack Historical Society.

George is survived by his niece Elizabeth Wilson and her husband Kenneth, and their children Alexander and Charlotte. He is predeceased by his parents George F. and Pauline C. Mahe and his sister Charlotte M. Farnham. George is also survived by many dear friends.

The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service immediately following the visitation. Interment at Westwood Cemetery, Westwood.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in George's name to the Tri-Boro Volunteer Ambulance Corps, P. O. Box 204, Park Ridge, NJ 07656-0204.
