Paul Damian D'Emilia, 70, of Barnegat, New Jersey passed away at home on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025. He was born in the Bronx, New York and as a child moved with his family to Park Ridge, New Jersey. He graduated from Park Ridge High School in 1973 where he played football and baseball and was on the Track Team. During those years, Paul also became a licensed lifeguard/swimming instructor and earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts.
After graduating from Ramapo College in 1977 with a business degree and an insatiable love of Star Wars, he worked for Federal Paper Board Company in New Jersey/New York, Joliet, Illinois and Wilmington, North Carolina. Paul then settled in Central New Jersey where he worked for Sharp Packaging in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
Later in life Paul enrolled in Stockton College in New Jersey where he obtained an additional degree, this time in Hospitality and Hotel/Casino Management, and worked in the Casino Business in Atlantic City.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Dotty, he is survived by his daughter Julie Ann Swann and husband Tim Gallen of Maryland as well as his three brothers and their spouses Bob and Billy, Todd and Sue, Rick and Kelly (nephews Ryan, Patrick and niece Emma) his Aunt Doris Puglia and cousin Trina Puglia of Pennsylvania.
He is also survived by his cousins, Donna Colon of Florida and Jean, Dale and John Cendali of the New York Area.
