Jeffrey James "Mayor Jeff" age 55, of Paterson at rest in Paterson on September 22, 2013. Beloved son of the late Robert and the late Marjorie (nee Eckert) Ormsby (1983, 2012). Loving brother of Marjorie A. Findlay and her husband Bill of Pequannock, Gail Rooney Negast of Paterson, Colleen Ormsby-Karcz of Wayne, and the late Robert J. Ormsby Jr. (2005) and the late Michael S. Ormsby (1978). Dear nephew of Eileen Betterbed of Washington State. Dear brother in law of Ann Ormsby of Bloomingdale. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Wayne for most of his life before moving back to Paterson eight years ago. He was a Machinist for Knickerbocker Machine Shop, Totowa for the past eight years. Mr. Ormsby was a parishioner of Holy Cross R.C. Church, Wayne, and used to be an altar server there. He was an avid N.Y. Yankee and Dallas Cowboy fan. He was one of a kind and was loved and will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Cross R.C.
