Being John's neighbor for the past four years I came to know this man as a friend and caring individual. He would ALWAYS help the seniors in the complex remove snow and plow out their cars. I was deeply saddened to see this kind person leave our lives so quickly and unexpectedly. John, you will be deeply missed by me. Thanks for always being there for all of us.

With our deepest sympathy to Susan, Bruce and the Placko Family, on John's passing. On behalf of my sisters and I, we remember John, our classmate, during our school days in Closter and Demarest (in grammar and high school). He always spoke with a friendly smile, and we fondly remember his dry sense of humor and great laugh! As we all enjoyed art classes, we remember John's exceptional talents, especially in our high school classes. We have been reminiscing about our school days very recently, as our Northern Valley high school class is planning our 40th reunion for this fall. We will remember John and keep him in our thoughts and prayers, especially at that time.

With our sincerest sympathy and understanding,

Arlene, Dottie, and Lynn Holtzbach

Closter, NJ
