Kandace Antonick-Howe Obituary

ANTONICK-HOWE - Kandace Marie, 47, on August 8, 2004 of Hawthorne, NJ, formerly of Waldwick. Beloved wife of Steven. Loving mother of Kayse and Steven of Hawthorne. Cherished daughter of Martin W. Antonick and Ione L. (nee Herrmann) Antonick of Waldwick. Dear sister of Karen Mott of Pinellas Park, FL, Kathryn Gattuso of Mahwah, Kim Antonick of Waldwick, Mark "Nick" Antonick of Monroe, NY and David Antonick of Riverhead, NY. Kandace is also survived by two nieces, five nephews, two great nephews, one great-niece and two dear friends, Colleen Suter-Castronova and Linda Connolly-Randazzo. Kandace was a 1975 graduate of Waldwick High School, a 1979 graduate of William Paterson College, receiving a BS degree and a 1989 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, receiving her MBA. Kandace was an Internal Auditor for Western World Insurance Company in Ramsey, she was CFO for the Fireman's Insurance Company in Teaneck. She also taught at Felician and Berkely College. She was also a CPA. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 14, 2004 at 10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kayse and Steven Howe's Education Fund which will be set up at a later date. My heart felt condolences to her family and friends...although I haven't seen "Kandi" in over 20 years or more there hasn't been a day that passed where the thought of her has crossed my mind and brightened my day. May she rest in peace Gary
