Our hearts go out to the entire Vaughan family and extended family on this tragic loss. I've known Michael since the 2nd grade and will remember him as a loyal friend with a terrific sense of humor and a smile to go with it. Michael and I shared many laughs and memories through the years and I am so fortunate that I was able to spend some time with him at our 20 year high school reunion a year and a half ago. I'll never forget you Mike! You will truly be missed by everyone you touched in your life.

I went to Willard, GW and RHS with Mike and just saw him at our reunion. I can't believe he's passed. He had the most electrifying smile. Blessings to the Vaughan family.

I only found out recently that Mike had passed on. He was always so kind to me. I went to Willard, G.W and RHS with him. The funny thing is that I am living here in Palm Beach and never knew he lived down here. He will be missed.

Oh, I am so sad. Mike and I saw each other in Chatham the last ten years or so. He would pull in our driveway and say hi - play with my daughter and chat. A few months before our 20th HS Reunion, he came over with his HS Yearbook -- and we laughed so hard. Deb Thomson was down from NY and we spent hours talking about RHS and how much fun we all had. He truly loved his friends -- and was so kind. Mike had impeccable manners -- I always thought that was such a nice trait. He was a gentlemen. I will miss seeing his red truck go by, with him waving and honking hello. Richard, Maggie May, alice and I are so deeply saddened and will continue to pray for Mike and all of the Vaughns. Warm regards, Abby Emerson Gray
