Murray F. Mascis 75, of Hasbrouck Heights formerly of Hoboken passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born in Hoboken to the late Murray J. and Katherine Mascis. Murray was an Army veteran during the Vietnam War. Before retiring in 2004, Murray had a career that spanned forty-three years, where he started out as a teller for First National City Bank and moved into the commercial real estate group. From Citibank, he went onto work at the Dime Savings Bank and retired as an Executive Vice-President of Commercial Real Estate for Washington Mutual in New York City. He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi R.C. Church, a member of the Monsignor Fitzpatrick Knights of Columbus Council 7041 and a past president of the Corpus Christi Home School Association all in Hasbrouck Heights. Murray lived for his family and friends, he loved spending time down the shore with his wife, children and grandchildren. Murray will be missed by all who knew him. He was very generous, always giving and never asking for anything in return. Beloved husband of Judy A. (nee Brandjes) Mascis. Devoted father of Michael Mascis and his wife Tina, Peter Mascis and his wife Joline and Brian Mascis and his wife Kristen. Dear brother of Kathleen Calicchio. Loving grandfather of Andrew, David, Jonathan, Carter, Christopher, Janelle and Carleigh. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, August 3rd at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church at 10 AM. Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Thursday, August 2nd from 2-4 & 6-9 PM.
