Nilesh Tamakuwala Obituary

Dr. Nilesh K. Tamakuwala died April 5 at University of Medicine and Dentistry Hospital of New Jersey. He was 32.

Born in Goregaon, India he came to the U.S. in 1984, settling in Parsippany.

Dr. Tamakuwala earned his bachelor's from Boston University in 2001 and his medical degree in internal medicine from Albert Einstein University in 2003.

Dr. Tamakuwala was a physician in the internal medicine department at Princeton Medical Center since 2009. Previously, he was chief resident at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick.

He is survivored by his parents, Kirit and Rohini (Master) Tamakuwala; his sister, Neha Gandhi, of Fair Lawn; and many other family members.

Services were conducted by the Stephen J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service. Memorial donations can be made to the Liver Foundation.
