Theresa Flar Obituary

FLAR - Theresa M. (nee O'Neill) age 72, died Monday, June 2, 2003 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Theresa was born in Jersey City on September 5, 1930. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her five children, living in Wyckoff for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Northwest Bergen Senior Citizens Center in Midland Park. Surviving are her children, Karen Ullmann of Forest Hill, MD, Linda Lund of Wyckoff, Carl Flar of Stockholm, and Brian Flar of Oak Ridge, her grandchildren, Daniel, Kristen, Elizabeth, Robert, Thomas, Rachel, C.J., and Philip. Theresa was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur in 1985, and her son Mark in 1998. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30 AM from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Avenue Wyckoff. Funeral Mass will follow 10 AM at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church 700 Wyckoff Avenue Wyckoff. Interment will be in the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery. Visiting is Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of Charity, St. Anne's Villa, Convent Station, NJ 07961, or The Nuturing Place, c/o Sister Barbara Moran, 81 York St., Jersey City, NJ 07302.
