Ah Turnpike Tom, AKA 305 Tom-To know him was to love him. Rode many a mile with Tom and enjoyed our many stops along the long... Tom would pull out his tape recorder put in one of his many Irish songs and pontificate on any subject that might arise. Tom also was a founding member of the "Deadhorse MC" and inadvertently named it. The members were fervently trying to come up with an appropriate name while downing a few at the local watering hole. After the 10th or so try Tom tiring of the horrible suggestions and arguing shouted out stop beating a DEADHORSE" ! The rest as they say is history....

Never a kinder, caring, more honorable person did I know, Tom. Left a lasting impression with most everyone you contacted with. Always the gentleman, always respectful, always made me feel proud to be introduced as "my younger brother, Bob"
Forever will you hold a special place in my heart; right alongside Mom & Dad and our brother, Ray.
May your soul now rest in eternal peace with them, my brother.

Ah, Tommy - the Reiner's and Popkowski's had memorable holiday feasts and good times when we were growing up. A soft spoken, gentle and good guy - not unlike his father - a "third older brother".

I had the good fortune of meeting Tom, through his long-time friend, Tony Papa. It was sheer delight to be in Tom's company. An avid reader, his knowledge was vast and he could speak on so many different subjects. He was so very willing to share what he learned. Tom was a kind, gentle soul with a warm and engaging smile. May he rest in peace.
