William Dammers Obituary
Dammers, Jr.
William, J. 72, of Andes, NY, formerly of Rutherford, passed away suddenly Sunday, July 30th, 2017. Born to the late William J. Dammers, Sr. and Margaret (nee Prothero). As a young man, William proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his service he married the love of his life, Dorothy (nee Ross) and together they raised 2 sons. William worked for Handi Lift as an elevator inspector in Carlstadt, NJ.
William will be deeply missed by his son's William III and his wife Wilhelmina, Jeffrey and his wife Christie, his grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Aubrey, Makala, and his siblings, Fredrick and Kenneth.
Family will receive friends for Memorial Visiting Thursday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 785 Springfield Ave., Summit, NJ 07901
