I am so sorry I'm unable to make the service today. I'll always remember Uncle David's stories but it was his melodious voice and his ability to draw you in and make you listen to whatever he had to speak about. One particular time when I was kayaking off his end of the lake on a really bad stormy day, the waves, the wind and the rain was making it really hard to come in to his dock. I came in hard and fast, slamming into the dock. Your dad helped me gain control of the kayak, he thoughtfully looked up and then out at the lake and back at me and in his very calm voice said "maybe not the best of day's to be out kayaking". Deepest Condolences, Sheri
