Elsie Derra Obituary
Elsie Mae was a great seamstress who made many people happy with wedding dresses, crochet table cloths, baptism dresses and quilts.
Elsie Mae was preceded in death by her son, Dallas; and her spouse of more than 60 years, Virgil; and two sisters, Veda Marie and Mary Alice.
She is survived by her four daughters, Dilla (Larry) Goedert, of St Charles, Mo., DeLene Derra, of Tucson, Ariz., DeEtta (Jerry) Wancewicz, of Omaha, and Delsie Fuqua, of Carrollton, Texas; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren.
There will be a family and friends celebration of life at Easter time in Gothenburg. There will be a mass at 10:30 a.m., followed with breakfast, on Monday, April 1, at Lady of God Council Catholic Church, 1915 Ave. J, Gothenburg.
Elsie Mae will be laid to rest at Floral Lawns Cemetery in North Platte. There will be no graveside service.

I always thought Elsie Mae was such a dear person..She made a beautiful crocheted doily for me when I graduated from high school in 1964..I still have that doily..So sorry for your loss..May peace be with you.

my sympathy goes out to Elsie mae family.I have good memories in 1957 we leased the drive inn next to your family's motel we lived in motel and when they needed the motel room we lived in their garage and some of you girls helped at the drive inn. We spent a lot of time with family your parents were very good to us.

Our sympathy to Elsie Mae's family. She had a long life. My mother was 95 when she died three years ago. I remember visiting Elsie Mae and Virgil at their motel in North Platte and all the weddings at Gothenburg.
