Sally Arlene Huff

1952 - 2023

Sally Arlene Huff of North Platte passed away at Great Plains Health on Jan. 28, 2023, at the age of 70. Sally was born in Spooner, Wisconsin, to John and Elizabeth Gallenbeck on Aug. 21, 1952. She grew up in Wyoming where she lived in Rawlins and graduated from Little Snake River Valley School in Baggs. On Jan. 3, 1971, Sally was united in marriage to Robert Huff in Rawlins. They moved to North Platte and Sally went to work for Howard Johnson then Cash-Wa. She later became an office manager for Pathology Services, North Platte OB/GYN and the Pain Clinic at Great Plains Health until retiring. Sally was a longtime volunteer with the Rape and Domestic Abuse Program (RDAP). She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading and loved being with family and friends, especially around the holidays. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Gallenbeck; brother, John Gallenbeck; and brother-in-law, Manny Rodabaugh. Sally leaves behind her husband, Robert; daughter, Tonya Huff of Riverside, California; sisters, Sherry Rodabaugh of Rawlins and Sandy Curry of Grand Junction, Colorado; brothers, Danny (Dora) Gallenbeck of Baggs and William (Kathy) Gallenbeck of Almont, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Donna Gallenbeck of Baggs and Lori (Richard) Mayo of Jacksonville, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Richard (Kathy) Huff of North Platte; close family friend, Sandi Rouse of Del Mar, California; and other family and friends. Private family burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, near Maxwell. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
