Barbara Sealock Obituary
Barbara Jean Sealock, 88, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Commonwealth Senior Living.
A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Prospect Hill Cemetery with pastor Jim Bunce officiating.
Barbara was born on August 20, 1936 in Orange County, Virginia to the late Willie Bee and Fannie Breeden. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Meredith Sealock; her young daughter, Bonnie Lou; her three brothers, Sanford "Jibo" Breeden, William "Buzzy" Breeden, and Lloyd Breeden; and four sisters, Fannie Mae White, Delma Kenney, Vera "Ginny" Atkins, and Opal Heflin. Her sister Opal went home just before her to help show her the way.
Survivors left to cherish loving memories include her daughter, Donna S. Knox (John Evans); her son, Andy Sealock (Sadaf); her grandchildren, Emily Knox, Collin Knox, Audrey Sealock, and Eva Sealock; her longtime best friend, Shirley Embrey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara graduated from Marshall High School in 1954.
Pallbearers will be Chris Brookman, Charlie Llewellyn, Steve Heflin, Billy Kenney, Robbie Atkins, Eddie Sealock, and Ron Newman.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Marlow Heights Baptist Church at 517 Braxton Rd. Front Royal, Virginia 22630 in loving memory of Barbara.

I was raised in linden and belle meade buzzy and Josie were my god parents and was a friend of Ginny and lived in the stone building called the piedmont across from columned and opal store new Barbara she was a sweet person gone to soon but God wanted another angel my deepest sympathy to to the family
