Janice Stuehmeier
Janice Stafford Stuehmeier, 70, of Stephens City died Thursday in Winchester.
The funeral will be conducted March 29 at 1 p.m. at St. Dunstan Episcopal Church in McLean by the Rev. Stephen Shepherd. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Stuehmeier was born April 6, 1937, in Borger, Texas, daughter of Owen and Maryanne Brantley Stafford. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for a number of professional service companies. She was a member of St. Dunstan Episcopal Church, church choir and was a literacy volunteer.
Surviving are her husband, Ray A. Stuehmeier; a daughter, Lezlye Parker of Roseland; a son, Brett Arsenault of Lakewood, Colo.; a sister, Madeline Pierce of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Elton Stafford of Medford, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester 22601.
Arrangements are being handled by the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home in Stephens City.
