The memory of Kelly generates ecstasy and pride in having known him - a wonderful person and American. May Day has a more morbid meaning than any time in the past. We all miss Kelly and preserve the fond recollection.

So sad to learn about Kelly's passing. One of the funniest, most interesting, and most admirable guys from my childhood. Hadn't seen him for years, but had his Myspace page in my "Favorites" at work, and always enjoyed seeing pics of the adult he'd become.

I remember Kelly from our days in HS at Warren Cty. He was great guy and no one has ever uttered a bad word of him. He was always a great guy. I'm sorry to hear of the sudden passing.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

What a wonderful celebration of life with both friends & family today. It goes without saying Kelly deserved it so much, but would have stood for none of it. Our love & support goes out to Tammie, kids & entire family.

Wow, I read this a few hours ago on Facebook, and I'm stunned. I haven't seen Kelly since our days at Tech so many years ago. We may have lost touch, but Kelly would come to mind from time-to-time. He was definitely hard to forget. The last time we spent much time together was July 4th of '95 or '96, I think. We drove up from Blacksburg and went to see the fireworks in D.C. we watched from the lawn of the Washington Monument, and it was the most spectacular display I have ever seen. Kind of a metaphor for the Kelly I knew. He was a really special guy. I always hoped we would reconnect one day, he was a true friend. Gone way too soon. Kelly will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. God Bless.

Your beautiful soul will never be forgotten and your light lives on thru your children.
To all of Kelly's family: Sharyn,David,Patrick,Kevin,Aunt Ellen,Tammie... Although no words can help ease the loss you bear of Kel, just know that you are all very close in every thought and prayer..may you find strength within the family and in the warm embrace of friends... The years had definitely gotta away from us, but I was only recently uttering your name in a conversation with my wife, as she had crossed paths recently with Kevin. Kelly brought back memories of a sweet-spirited gent with a great sense of humor and a natural ability to do just about anything. I'm grateful...grateful for the brief window of time and space when fond memories were created and much laughter ensued...a gift I will cherish even until my own demise. You are missed, even now, but your memory lives on...

No words can express my feelings....Kelly and Tammie are my life-long, and so much loved friends. (All of us are family really!) My heart bleeds for the living who must endure such an unexpected empty space in their world. I know Kelly is "Good", not wanting a big "hoopla"; just another opportunity for all of us to get together and appreciate how close we all are...how we're always there for each other...and how really cool that is... and always will be!!!! Never a doubt! With my love and prayers of peace...

Kelly was a wonderful person and colleague, very polite, professional, kind, and helpful. That kind that is hard to find and that brings everyday joy into the office with just a presence. Always had a smile on his face, even when he had a severe toothache! He is greatly missed by his team and the colleagues.

We all revere and miss Kelly. He was one of the great people - passionately serving the American people through his Army career and cybersecurity expertise. I personally loved talking with him; he was stationed in places where I had lived and he did wonderful things while in the Army. I and we all so enjoyed working, talking, and being with Kelly. The spectacular memory of Kelly will live on forever.
