Robert Fretterd Obituary

Robert C. Fretterd, 82, resident of Crestview, passed away Friday evening, Jan. 15, 2010, in Crestview.
He was retired as Chief Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, after serving his country for over 30 years.
Robert was an accomplished cook, and his Italian dishes were unsurpassed. He loved a variety of music, especially Frank Sinatra and other artists from the Big Band era.
Robert was preceded in death by a grandson, Burton Fretterd.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Shirley Fretterd, of Crestview; a daughter, Sherri (Jett) Hendricks of Terrell, Texas; a son, Marty (Sheila) Fretterd of Crawfordville, Fla.; step-children, David (Cindy) Beaulieu, of Gorham, Maine, Janie (Chris) Cobb of Pensacola, and Bernie (Nancy) Beaulieu, of Jacksonville; two sisters, Marion Bainton of Quincy, Mass., and Carol Irving Sharp of Cape May, N.J.; brother-in-law, Claude (Lynn) Fongemie, of Westerly, R.I.; grandchildren, Jeremiah Tawater, Christo-pher (Nicole) Hendricks, Quinn (Mali Rowe) Fretterd, Sydney Fretterd, Lauren Cobb, Adam Cobb, Grace Cobb, Emma Cobb, Samuel Cobb, Mary Kate Cobb, Ryan Beaulieu, Brendon Beaulieu, Christa Beaulieu, Hope Beaulieu and Bryan Beaulieu.
A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
Interment with military honors will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.

Shirley,
so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. My dad and I are in Daytona now for 2 weeks at my house. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you during this difficult time. Please know we are thinking of you!!
