CHICAGO, IL - Edward Simmons III, 45, of Chicago, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1047 Kenwood Street in Hammond, IN. Visitation one hour prior to services; Masonic Rites beginning promptly at 10:30 a.m.. Rev. Maurice Parrish, officiating. Interment Concordia Cemetery in Hammond, IN.

Ed, all of this still seems a bit unreal to me, but I´m learning to not to question life´s Divine Plan. You were an amazing stand up guy and I´m grateful for our friendship. Ed we shared a lot of good times. My brothers Jason, Devon and me Sherri. Your laughter and that smile will forever be remembered will forever be missed. You left us just a little too soon and still you'll always be here,it's been 20 years since I saw you last but your love tour friendship I'll always hold dear.
