Francis Motkowski Obituary

FRANCIS MOTKOWSKI NAPERVILLE, IL Francis Motkowski, 82, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Season Hospice, Naperville, IL. He was born June 9, 1931 in Peshtigo, WI to Mary and Ignatz Motkowski. Francis was a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps and a veteran of the Korean War. He retired owning several businesses in Glen Park, Merrillville, Hammond, and Indianapolis. He is survived by his sister, Ann; cousin, Shirley; children: Karen (Duane), Bruce (Virginia), Dave (Barb), Linda (William), Paul (Samira), Cindy (David), and Jim (Lea); his son-in-law, Bill Aldridge; daughter-in-law, Sue; grandchildren: William, Amanda, Rachel, Victoria Rose, Nathan, Melissa, Erica, Adam, Ryan, Hanna, Michael, Corbin, Erica; and great grandchild, Emerson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa (Radziejewski) Motkowski; two sons: Greg and Larry; his daughter, Susan; his brothers: John, Tom, Chet; and cousin, Gene. A memorial will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014, 10:00 AM at St. John Bosco Church, Hammond, IN. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The American Diabetes Foundation is appreciated.
