KAYLYNN STEVENSON WANATAH, IN Kaylynn Stevenson, 69, of Wanatah passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at home with her family. She was born February 6, 1945 in LaPorte to Lynn and June (Rauen) Phegley and graduated from LaCrosse High School in 1963. Kaylynn was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in LaCrosse and visited the Lacrosse Library religiously. She loved life and everyone she shared it with. She relished her leisure time trips to resale and Goodwill shops, haircuts, cooking for family and shopping for clothes and shoes. Most of her time was devoted to her family and the needs of her son, Nathan, to which she would have gladly committed all of her time. On February 8, 1964 she married Larry Stevenson who survives along with their children: Stephen Stevenson of Wanatah, Gina (Shawn) Conell of Fairbanks, Alaska, Nathan Stevenson of Valparaiso, sister, Paulette (Tom) Duckworth of North Judson and granddaughter, Ellilynn Alderson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael Phegley. A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 Indiana Ave., Kouts. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Catholic Church,. LaCrosse, Fr. Jerry Schweitzer officiating with cremation to follow.
