Larry Yaros

Larry Yaros HOBART, IN-Larry Yaros, age 79, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017. He was born on December 16, 1938 in Gary, IN to Steven and Doris (Rogers) Yaros. Larry is survived by his sons: Duane Yaros of Valparaiso, David (Nancy) Yaros of Parkland, FL and Shawn (Suzanne) Yaros of Union Mills; brothers: Steven (Polly) Yaros Jr., Duane (Janet) Yaros; sister, Sandra "Sandy" (Merle) Clayton; grandchildren: Brittani, Aaron, Hannah, Jack, Matt; great grandchild , Levi. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Yaros; son, Jason Yaros; brothers, Terry David Yaros; sisters: Faye Ellen Milner and JoAnn Mchone. Larry retired after many years of service as a millwright for Belcon Regis Group. In 1960 Larry married the love of his life Nancy (Franklin) Yaros. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and Porter Central Horseshoe League. Larry liked to joke and brought life to the party. He loved his family dearly. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church, 356 700th W, Valparaiso, IN 46385, with Father Paul Quanz officiating. Burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at EDMONDS & EVANS FUNERAL HOME, Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368.
