Linda Madison Obituary

LINDA L. MADISON HOBART, IN Linda L. (Brown) Madison age 63 of Hobart, IN joined her family in Heaven on Friday April 17, 2015. Linda was born July 19, 1951 on Travis Air Force Base Fairfield, CA to Donald and Shirley (Plews) Brown, their first born and the light of their lives. Graduate of Hobart High School 1969 and Hammond Jr. Business College, Past Honored Queen Job's Daughters Hobart. She was an accomplished artist who shared her many works of art to the delight of her family and friends. Beloved wife and loving mother. Linda cherished and honored the memory of a son taken too soon. Linda's kind, gentle and deeply creative nature were expressed through her love of family and the beauty of artistic expressions. Linda always had a unique and spiritual bond with animals as evidenced by the many strays that found their way to her door step to be healed and nurtured back to health. Even squirrels and chipmunks normally fearful of humans would sit on her knee and eat from her hand. Linda will be missed by creatures big and small but especially by her husband and family, we love you Linda. She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years James; father Donald L. (Diane) Brown; sisters: Cheryl (Joe) Wytovicz, Elsie (Chris Ferguson) Brown; brothers: Donald (Kelley) Brown and Riley Brown; uncles: Bill (Izzy) Brown, Larry (Sally) Brown; loving in-laws: James (Jean) Madison, Pat (Jane) Madison; nieces and nephews: Jordan and Jesse Brown, Mike and Faith Madison, Mason Fergusonl; dear friend Joanne Knapp, and her beloved pets Maggie, Chuck and Toby. Linda was a kind, loving soul who cherished her son and husband. I worked with her at the block plant and shared lots of fun times, as well as my husband being best friends with Jim. We've not seen Linda in four years, but will always remember her gentle, loving spirit. RIP dear friend.
