Russell Schroeder Obituary
Russell E. Schroeder, age 96, of Highland, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (Kim) Schroeder and Kenny (Jackie) Schroeder; daughter, Paula Volkmann; daughter-in-law, Debbie Schroeder; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LoAnn; son, David Schroeder; and daughter, Cathie Janeway.
Russell was a proud Air Force Veteran and graduate of University of Wisconsin. He retired from LTV Steel as an Asst. Chief Chemist.
Special gratitude to longtime caregiver and friend, Georgina, and Home Healthcare nurse, Angie.
Visitation will be held at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, Ind., on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 11 am to 12 pm, with a funeral service at 12 pm. Interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens to follow.
