Judith Metzgar Obituary
AGE: 74 • Hopatcong
Judith Metzgar, of Hopatcong, passed away on Monday August 11, 2014 at her home. She was 74. Born in Dover, Judy resided in Stanhope, Netcong and Wharton prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1999. She enjoyed crafting, knitting and crocheting, but her greatest joy was raising her family.
Judy was predeceased by a grandson, Ricky in 1996. Survivors include five children, Richard E. Metzgar and wife Eileen, Wendy Bayer and husband James, Christopher Metzgar and wife Elena, Kevin Metzgar and wife Tammy and Timothy E. Metzgar, a sister, Marlene Vanderdrift and her late spouse John, 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Judy's life on Sunday August 17 from 3-7 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. Cremation will be private. All are welcome at the graveside burial of Judy's cremated remains on Tuesday August 19 at 10:00AM at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
