With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Barbara Beth Kaplan, who left us peacefully on February 14, 2025, in New York City at age 76. She epitomized love in its purest form. Born and raised in Manhattan, Barbara personified grace, style and culture. A gifted artist and poet, she possessed wit, integrity, and remarkable resilience. Her presence lit up every room, and her warmth touched all who knew her. A devoted wife, daughter, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend, Barbara's heart was boundless, her spirit unshakable, and her legacy everlasting. May her memory forever be a blessing. A service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, at 1:30pm, at Temple Emanu-El, E. 65th St. and 5th Ave. A reception will follow.
