The first time Jordan introduced me to his parents, I brought along my not so "tiny dog", Xena. Within a few minutes, my 110 pound rottweiler was lying down on the Seamans’ sofa with her head resting in Carl’s lap – Carl was petting her soft ears ever so gently. Xena was an excellent judge of character, and later, she told me about her feelings for Carl. She felt Carl’s love and made it clear to me that my future husband, Jordan, came from kind parents and an animal loving family. Though there was not nearly enough time, Ben did have a chance to learn how to yell at the TV during sporting events, and Jessie got to experience Carl’s gentle side. Carl will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Over the course of 13 years, I worked in both of Carl's Florida companies. He loved being involved in his businesses and I will forever miss our conversations about gold and the future economic mess that awaited us (and which subsequently transpired). I hope it is some comfort to his family that there are many business associates and friends that will continue to have fond memories of Carl.

My heartfelt sympathies to my old and dear friend Dana and the entire family. While I hadn't seen your dad since high school, I remember what a nice, funny guy he was and how much he loved you, Dana.

I will forever remember Carl's generosity of spirit evidenced by him welcoming Hal into the family, despite the fact that he was a Cowboys fan. To all of you, his friends and extended family, to Linda, Jordan, and especially Dana, my oldest friend, I send love and heartfelt sympathy for a good guy taken far too soon.

Carl was a great friend and long time supporter of North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center; along with Linda, our former President and current board member, and their children Jordon and Dana. What this family's friendship and support has meant is relief and hope for thousands of children and families that they do not even know, families that struggle with serious emotional problems. This major commitment and contribution to humanity will always be remembered. I, for one, consider it to be one of Carl Seaman's everlasting legacies. I am grateful to this family and I extend my deepest sympathies.

my first memory of dana's dad was actually from afar. dana and i were debating our flights home from London. i liked her dad immediately when he suggested we fly first class. i could not wait to meet this person with such good sense. well, i had the opportunity quicker than i thought. when we arrived in canada, we found him waiting there. he flew to canada just to be able to fly home with us!!! it still sticks with me... how much he loved dana!!!
he will really be missed.

Sorry, Daddy. We forgot to bury your cell phone with you. Hank knew you'd want it to get yourself out of there. I"ll always love you.
