CHARLES STERNBERG Obituary

STERNBERG--Charles. Age 84, died peacefully on July 3, 2023 surrounded by his family after a long battle with Parkinsonism. A proud New Yorker, he was born in the Bronx, and attended Hunter College, New York University and Hunter School of Social Work. He was a loving husband to Judith Kostman, and devoted father to David Sternberg (Christine) and Roseanne MacNeill. Also survived by his grandchildren Charles Arthur, Henry, Jennifer (Elad), Justin, his nephew Peter Schifrin, and Muller and Kostman relatives. Charles was predeceased by daughter Sharon, twin sister Anne Schifrin, brother Fred and parents Abraham and Rose. A special thank you to his caregivers and therapists for their years of love and care. Funeral service and burial took place at New Montefiore Cemetery on July 5, 2023.
