I would have liked to extend my condolences to Susan and her family eight years ago, but I was informed of David's untimely passing just recently. I am shocked and saddened to learn about David. He was a warm, sweet and creative soul who loved his wife, Susan Salzberg, with all his heart.

Dearest Susan,Josephine and family and friends,
David was a special complete man and if he touched your lives, you were very lucky. His smile and glint in his eyes were contagious. David's warmth and generous personality will never be forgotten. His family meant all to him and he loved them so much.
I for one have only the fondest memories and treasure my friendship with this man of distinction that touched my life in so many ways.

I will always remember David as full of life and joy. I grew up with him from Kingergarten through graduation NRHS. He was a good soul and will be missed.

Dear Susan and Josephine,i am trying to find words to comfort both you and all of us who loved David...so I am concentrating on the many delightful moments we shared when i worked at Jennifer George. Think of the sweet memories and take comfort in the fact that in the short time he was with us, he accomplished a lot, was loved a lot and his legacy will reflect this.

I sat with David at Susan's wedding, and then didn't see him again until a wonderful lunch a few months ago in Mt. Kisco, equidistant from our homes. I was reminded at once of David's bouyant spirit, unique take on the world, and his indefatigability, and had so much fun that I called my wife to swing by and meet this dear friend from my childhood. I'm so glad to have had that reminder, so saddened that there won't be another in person, and so sorry for your loss. But David will live on in the memories of all of us who were fortunate enough to have known him. With deepest condolences, Jon Klein
