Dear Jeff et al:
I was saddened to hear of the passing of a teenaged boy while at summer camp. Then I was shocked to learn that he was the son of someone with whom I attended college. Please accept my deepest sympathies. May your bereavement be eased somewhat by the eternally warm memories that you will always have of Ethan.

Our hearts are with you all. We can't express a simple condolence to cover the amount of sympathy we feel for you at this time. Please know our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with you, now. Losing a son, brother, and friend such as Ethan has made many understand the importance of appreciating the bonds we have in life. It sounds like you raised a fine young man, and have more to share with your other boys. Wishing you love and peace: Scott, Pam, Ethan and Hunter (Campbell)

Jeffrey and Susan -
I did not know Ethan personally, but I do know he was a rising star in the eyes of so many at Landon.
When so little makes sense today, I hope that you soon find comfort in recalling him as he was in your mind's eye and will forever be in your heart- a wonderful son, a loving brother, a respected teammate and a good citizen of this earth. You raised a fine young man.
I share your pain today because Ethan's death hits so very close to home. I have thought of him often since hearing the news and especially at 11am today.
My wife, Johanna, son Sam, and I are very sorry for your loss.
