MY deepest condolences to the family they gave my mother Mary Callie Cobbs a job as house servicer back in 1960 till retired in 1990 he n his family help her during their times together but at the end she passed away two years ago to me he always true gentle giant in our family. To the entire Powers Family:
Our condolences on the untimely death of Fred. My husband was part of the Rawlplug/Powers team for 27 years as an engineer in New Rochelle. I was saddened to see Fred's obit come across my desk yesterday for publication. It is very unique and fitting that here in Florida, I would be the one to personally see that Fred's obit was published.

Mr. Powers was a man made for Greatness! In just the seven years I knew him; he blessed me with his friendship and wisdom. He embraced me with open arms once I started at Powers. He will be missed!!!!
