Walter Zweifler - Lancaster Pa family friend - Remembers the Lancaster Pump Co and Kurt who was my father's tenant at 110 West Chestnut Street - and Gabby, Edith and Kurt's only child. When I moved to New York in the late 1950s I lost track of her and the family and was saddened to read the obituary in the New York Times. At this stage of life you come across old connections with frequency. My condolences to the family. I want to write a history of New Americans who came to Lancaster in the late 1930s. Their success stories should not be lost. If you can provide any clues how they got to Lancaster I would love to hear from them - 973 763 5534 - or [email protected]
