The memories of conversatiions with Gerry linger in my mind, my biggest regrets are not having the privilege of meeting him in person - he was an invaluable source of wisdom to me personally at a very difficult time in the Museum´s history...
May he Rest In Peace knowing his support was instrumental in the positive growth of the National Lighthouse Museum...
Sincerely,
Linda C. Dianto

Condolences to Chase and his family on the passing of their father. A donation will be made to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to honor his philanthropic works.
Chase and I went to high school together and though we haven't seen each other in years, remember him always making me laugh. God bless.

There is another bright star in the

The National LIghthouse Museum, Staten Island, New York is very grateful for the interest and support Gerry Lenfest provided in helping launch the Museum in 2014-15. We are saddened to hear of his demise, but truly know his guidance and direction will continue to enlighten the world through preservation and education on the maritime heritage of Lighthouses and Lightships for generations to come.
May he Rest In Peace!
