Susie and I just heard of John's passing and want to extend our deepest condolences to Julia, John Jr and the entire family. John was a gentleman in the true sense of the word, and a lawyer's lawyer. It was a pleasure to work with John over the years and to spend time with he and Julia at NYSBA events- His counsel and warm personality will be missed by all who knew him/Larry and Susie Wolk

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Hall and the entire Hall family. John was a true gentleman who loved his profession and his family. I will forever miss our 7am conversations in the parking lot of his building for which I have been a proud tennant for 10+ years. May you rest in eternal peace my friend.

My deepest and sincere sympathy on the passing of my friend and coach. John was a Grant City boy (Colfax Avenue) and so involved in the community. As a young man, he played football with the New Dorp Queens and found the time, along with his studies, to coach a group of us a few years younger than him. I and many, still called him coach. Many of us took pride as we learned of his accomplishes in College and in the field of Law. After all, he was one of us. John was a longtime member of The Rotary Club of Staten Island. A loving husband and father, a loyal friend and an asset to whatever he took part in - Rest in peace good and faithful friend.
