Julie loved all creatures great and small and considered herself a voice for the voiceless.

She walked in beauty, the lady of my delight.

Though sometimes in turmoil, she was always seeking and finding new ways to express the beauty that was at her core, transforming old into new, ordinary into sublime.

Always on the side of the outcast, she had a motley collection of friends: human, canine, and feline.

Though often apart from those she loved and who loved her, she was and always will be a part of us.

Though gone from us, we believe she is near, at peace, immersed in Beauty, a glimmering of which is her lasting gift.

I think of Julie often. We were for several years, next door neighbors. She was an intelligent, wonderful, talented and uplifting spirit as well as a sensitive human being. I'll miss her always.

I offer my sincere condolences for a wonderfully talented and loving person I briefly got to know. While working in Clinton Housing Association I had the privilege of meeting Julie and her doggy. She will be missed and I hope her family continues the legacy of love she showed in her own way...
