Our condolences and deep sympathy to the Ruppenthal Family. We give thanks for Karl's rich, meaningful life full of great achievements. Karl had great love for family, children and friends. His elan vital was inspiring and we will miss his charming smile, wise and witty remarks. We are grateful for having known him and also for having had the opportunity to say goodbye at a magnificent Bach concert a few weeks before he died.

So sorry to hear of Karl's death. He was a great friend, a fellow Sig Ep at KU, and I knew his brother Hal (who was killed in the war) through Church camp, and Art who was in the Sig Ep House with me.
