I can remember how intelligent Lindsey was when she visited our home in the early 90’s. My mother Christine always spoke about how smart and sweet she was. I can remember when Sanjay and Silvia picked her up, how respectful and obedient she was in responding to her parents. We all could see that Lindsey was loved and was blessed to have two good parents raising her to be the wonderful young lady she blossomed into. I know how important Lindsey was to my mom, she was her nanny for several years. We live with the pain here on earth for the loss of Lindsey but we need to remember that Lindsey is in a place of wonderful peace and joy. If we can become better somehow from Lindsey’s wonderful life then her life lives on in our heart! God bless Silvia and Sanjay. Seek the Lord in your time of pain and He will soothe you. Lindsay´s Smile and Wonderful, Spirited Helpfulness keeps her in my heart always. I will always miss her. I hope you, her family, feel uplifted by the smile I have on my face thinking of her. I was years older than Lindsay but we related through CPNYC on very much the same level. With warmth to you all, Susan Cherson

It is just a moment in time when you understand a person's soul: of
wit, talent, generosity, kindness, patience and brilliance that you say it out loud to that person. You bond beyond words, and Lindsey received those words as if it was a gift. The true gift was all that I received from her. We are the lucky ones and will take Lindsey's gifts and hold them tight.
You, her family, have my very deepest condolences and I wanted you all to know I will always smile ,fully, when I think of her.

My heart breaks for the Kumar family. My daughter and Lindsey were friends in middle school and I remember Lindsey as being gracious and having such a big heart. I am sure that she touched more lives than you will know.

Though I only knew Lindsey for a few months, she was a huge source of inspiration and comfort for me at Children of Promise, NYC. Before I began volunteering, Lindsey took the time to take me out for coffee to get to know me and intentionally made an effort to make me feel included. Lindsey is fiercely loyal, uncompromisingly loving, and hilariously witty. I'll miss seeing her on Saturday's at Children of Promise, but I know that her energy and legacy will live on through the kids she served.

I was lucky enough to be friends with and to work with Lindsey. I feel blessed that I was able to help her with Children of Promise and I know how much the charity meant to her. She had a fierce dedication in doing the best job possible for all of her endeavors.
Lindsey is one of the most intelligent and kindest people I have ever met. It hurts me deeply to know that she felt such sadness as to me, she was like an angel who brought beauty and light to the World.
I miss you so much and I am grateful for the opportunity to be your friend. I will carry your memory in my heart forever.
