I was saddened to hear of Dr. Roseff's passing. I first saw him as a patient when he was chief resident at Beth Israel and remained a patient whether I lived in New Jersey, Tokyo, or California. He was a kind, soft-spoken, gentle man and will be sorely missed.

My deepest condolences to the Roseff family .I first met and worked with Lionel in the 1960's and was in awe of this very kind, knowledgeable and gentle man.He was a pleasure to work with. I had the pleasure of having him deliver my first child 37 years ago.My memories of him are very vivid and they will remain in my heart. RIP to a true giant among men.

He was my first and only gynecologist. He listened. He cared. He was a great doctor and friend to my sister seeing her through two births and, finally, her untimely death. He will be remembered with respect and affection.
