MYRON HENDEL Obituary
The Jewish Theological Seminary joins the family in mourning the loss of Myron Hendel (z"l), beloved father of Stephen Hendel and father-in-law of JTS board member Ruth Hendel. Myron will be remembered for his warmth, his business acumen, his love of family, and his generosity to both the Jewish community and the community at large. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Rita, and the entire family. May they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Alan Levine, Board Chair Arnold M. Eisen, Chancellor

Please accept my condolences . May Myron be remembered for the good & the many kindnesses showed towards all those whose hearts were touched by his warmth, love & generosity. God is good and merciful, he keep those who pass on in his memory because they are precious to him. Psalms 116:15.

Dear Rita and family,
Preston and I send our condolences to each of you, at this very difficult time.
We both thought so highly of Myron.
To me, Myron's most wonderful quality was he didn't care about your position in life, he cared about you as a person.
I can't count the many times I was in Stop and Shop or the Crystal Mall etc., and Myron would go out of his way to come over and say hello to me, and chat for awhile.
Preston was blessed to work for Myron for the last 40 plus years.
Our prayers are with each of you, that you find peace in your wonderful memories of the best husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather.

I was fortunate to have met Myron early in my business career. He always made time for me and provided heartfelt advice and guidance. Our community was fortunate to have Myron as our neighbor. His tireless efforts will continue to pay large dividends for generations. Rest in peace my friend.
