Lehman. UJA-Federation of New York mourns the passing of Peter Lehman Buttenwieser, whose family has been a longtime supporter of UJA's work. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Peter's wife, Terry Ann Marek; his daughters, Sarah Buttenwieser, Julie Suh, and his stepdaughter, Emily Edwards; his brothers, Lawrence and Paul; his grandchildren; and the entire family. Pete was an outstanding teacher and human being. His rendering of American History back in 1960 has stayed with me to this day. Pete was sensitive to his students and I have never forgotten him. Condolences to his family.
